The story of Langham Group Construction Services begins with the story of Ken and Kay Langham.
This is the super-duo who founded Austin Countertops in 1971, which quickly became the industry-leading provider of construction services in Central Texas.
For more than 40 years, Ken and Kay Langham worked with other construction professionals to build Central Texas. Blessed with an extensive list of clients, ranging from major national homebuilders to local contractors, remodelers and homeowners, Ken and Kay built a family business that was rooted in a strong foundation of integrity and love. They valued their family, friends, customers, and employees. Everyone who crossed their path experienced their leadership, love and kindness.
The world was a little less wonderful when Ken Langham and Kay Langham passed away. Life and business changed dramatically for their family.
Ken Langham, Jr grew up at Austin Countertops. The youngest of Ken and Kays’ five children, he began sweeping the laminate shop as a kid, moved up to the manufacturing department as a young man, and eventually became a leading member of the field management team.
After 25 years of dedication to Austin Countertops as an employee and a partner, Ken Langham Jr decided to embrace his parents’ entrepreneurial spirit and seek out his own business path.

This is where the story of Langham Group begins. Ken and his wife Shannon worked together at Austin Countertops and have a passion for construction and design. Most importantly, Ken and Shannon observed, listened and learned from the incredible teachers they had in Ken and Kay.
Ken Langham Jr brings decades of construction expertise and integrity to every project he works on. Drawing on hard-earned wisdom in large volume residential construction, commercial construction and custom work, he is respected in the construction community for his knowledge and team-oriented approach.
Shannon Langham started working as a teenager in print shops and was immediately smitten with the world of graphic arts and design. Her creativity, love for people, and brains for business always landed her squarely in the world of Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.
Ken and Kay Langham left strong a legacy to follow. Ken and Shannon work to honor their legacy every day.
